I thought the episode was nicely balanced and a nice return for the shows final season. Off the bat we find out Amber is pregnant but no longer with Ryan and not telling anyone yet. I liked her talk with Haddie and the flash back to the boy they fought over (so many years ago) I do think she will keep it. They waited until the end of the episode to see Amber visiting her mom with the news, loved the stunned look on Sarah's face.
So Julia is sleeping with a new guy, now is it just me or is she doing more to keep away from Joel than Joel ever did last season. And as far as we know Joel has not been with any one else during the separation, or before it last season. Really hope they work things out.
Baby Aide is walking... nuff said, not much from Crosby's family this week.
It was nice of Sarah to surprised Zeek with a trip to Vegas for his birthday, but I didn't like how Adam didn't seem to trust her and wanted to talk to the doctor the when things went wrong. Then with Crosby they decide to run off to find them, first why didn't they take Camille or at least call her and ask? Maybe they did and the scene was cut. That said I did like how they decided to stay, yes Adam this family is sick.
Meanwhile things are going well for Sarah and Hank, she has her coffee machine at his place, but is still to move in. Things are about to get complicated with Sandy (his ex) moving back to town because she needs help with Ruby. Funny scene when she found Sarah's underwear in her room.
And lastly we see the rush to get Chambers Academy finished in time for the new school year. I guess Joel was too busy with other work to take on the construction job. But of course when he shows up he decides to help out like the rest of the family. I did like how Christina talked to Max while watching the paint dry and in the end he decided to give it a go after insisting he wanted to continue home schooling.
