My Thoughts

Okay we opened Bob inviting Amber on a trip to Sacramento where he is going to speak to some business people. Later we see Haddie helping Amber pack for the trip with some sexy clothes and high heeled shoes and questioning if she wants to hook up with the good looking guy. Also off topic but does Amber have a lot of clothes in her tiny apartment? Good to see Amber helping at the confidence, mouthing the mans name for Bob. Later we see them having a good time in the bar before going back to their room. Now of course Haddie was going to tell her mom about it what she saw and of course Kristina went off to stop it. Now while there is an age difference I personally don't see a problem with the hook up but I can understand Kristina's reaction given the city council elections coming up, well at least she's not a intern. By the way, since when did Amber get so sexy.

Meanwhile Max is using his asperges as a 'disability' and not wanting to play sports even though he has a good layup. Later to make Max feel better Adam has a game with Zeek and Crosby at the Braverman house. Max tells Adam they call him a looser at school, listing of the students names. Adam says it's not nice calling them losers but in the end he calls them losers and losses the battle of wills. Kristina calls the jackass. In the end Max sits out basketball at school and makes a new friend, Micah. Who is in a wheel chair suffering from Spina-bifida. Later Max surprises his parent by inviting him over to play video games, telling them as Micah is being wheeled up to the front door by his parents. Max takes Micah in to play games in the living room as the parents bond over their children.

A mix up at the pharmacy sees Crosby finding out Zeek's medical condition, with Lily's help he Googles the name of the drugs he talks to his mom and then during the basketball game with Max he is worried and tells his he knows something is up. Zeek doesn't want to talk about it and tells him to not to talk to anyone about it. Later he talks to Zeek once again and this time he explains what is going on. Also Crosby is on allergy medication.

Julia, being Julia is trying to help Zoe but is stressing her out, she helps set her up with a paralegal job for after she gives birth, but Zoe doesn't turn in the application because she didn't get her high school diploma, later we see Julia giving Zoe some GED flash cards and helping her with them.

Meanwhile things are getting complicated for Sarah when Drew finds the ovulation test. Understandably Drew finds it all a bit weird. Trying to get to know him better Mark takes Drew out for a meal where he opens up, feeling like Mark and his mom wants to start a new family. Come on give Miles some more scripts like this on the show, sometimes we go weeks without him doing much! In the end Sarah talks to him to try and reassure the kid. Drew like many kids in his situation is still hoping his dad will return and they will get back together. I do wonder if Drew is the voice of reason on the show. Making Sarah and Mark think twice about having a kid with out even living together or an engagement in the wind. Late in the episode Sarah calls Seth and fills him in. He is supportive of her choice to have a baby. It was fantastic and a nice surprise to see John Corbett again.

Two more episodes to go in the season, time goes too fast some times.
