Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) receives startling news from his doctor while Crosby (Dax Shepard) moves toward a new relationship. Amber (Mae Whitman) excels at her job, but becomes confused over her boss' actions; Adam (Peter Krause) and Kristina (Monica Potter) worry over the costs to send Haddie (Sarah Ramos) to the college of her choice, and Julia (Erika Christensen) grows concerned Zoe (guest star Rosa Salazar) is beginning to change her mind about giving up her baby for adoption. Also starring Lauren Graham, Miles Heizer, Bonnie Bedelia, Sam Jaeger, Max Burkholder, Savannah Paige Rae and Tyree Brown.
Finally some more scene time with Drew and Sarah, guess they got over the whole seeing his mom with Mr Cyr thing. And now we find out Sarah has met Amy's parents and they get along. What 16 year old forgets his cell phone? Nice to see Drew is not afraid to hold hands with Amy in public, good on them. Now I just wish he would talk to his mother about school and his interests. What I did find strange was while Haddie's parents might struggle to send Her to Cornell there was no such discussion for Drew and UC Davis. And you would time Sarah would have more money issues than Adam, even after starting a new business.
