My Thoughts

Welcome to the 2nd half of the season.

I was not impressed by the lack of Sarah Braverman tonight, over half way in before we get the one her only scene, but I must say it was nice how she wants to support Amber and help her work out her goals in life. Now given the guitar thing last season I would have thought a good fit would have been at the Luncheonette studio. I'm sure she would have made a good receptionist with zero chance of wanting to kiss Adam.

Speaking of, I can see Adam's point of view, he really didn't do anything wrong apart from not firing Rachel this week. Adam was being the gentleman he is and Rachel got the wrong idea. Kristina has every right to bet upset and I'm sure as soon as she calms down things will be back to normal for them. Hopefully Kristina going back to work give her more to do than play mommy to Nora.

I didn't mind Crosby having some fun at his brothers expense this week and teasing him, maybe he was a little jealous? Other things in his life I'm surprised it's taken them 10 episode to address the no wedding issue with Jabbar. But then after the dinner explaining things they have the family phone chat/singing and well Crosby and Jasmine ending up in bed, I have to feel for Jabbar with these two parents.

Back to Amber, still working at the coffee place and not making enough money to pay the rent, tail between her legs she asks grandma for help. I'm sure Sarah must have been filled in off screen. But I feel like a lot was cut this week. Oh and her car breaking down, what people can't see the car is broken or is that just typical driver behavior in San Francisco?

Finally we have Julia and Joel meeting Zoe's Boyfriend for the first time, He looked like a nice guy but who didn't see this coming? Him asking for more from the Graham's.

Other things to note, Rachel can play the piano! Not much from Haddie and Max this week and Sydney was MIA after last week she still might be grounded.

And what happened to Drew, the ep description said he was seeking out extracurricular activities, Maybe they were with Amy and left on the cutting room floor as well?
