I'm keeping these shorter this time to about a page full but we'll see how it goes.
|Episode 150 and nothing was said about it in the press that I saw. It was a good episode, solid performances from all the cast, only down side was still no Emily or Richard, but we got some good Sookie and Jackson as a replacement and Paul Anka (the dog) is still alive!
First Rory, it had to happen, a reality check. But oy with the anvils from Paris and Doyle. This only complaint about those scenes was the first one with the letters did drag on a bit long. I liked how Doyle came back in the end.
|Luke and Lorelai were great this week, it's been building since the hospital scene for April. They have been "so polite to each other" as Lorelai said and it had to end. The teaser was nice and awkward as it would be. And it was Sookie who pushed Lorelai to ask for Luke's help with the car. Loved the Luke rant in the end, seamed like classic Luke and Lorelai. And Luke helping Lorelai keep her Jeep by arranging the "new" engine and wanting/demanding to fix up her bike. By the way loved Lorelai riding the bike but wonder why no wireless ear piece?
The doll house story line was a little silly, as was the reason for Jackson being there but it all worked in the end, even if there was an overdose of anvils for both girls this week!
PARIS: Bite me, Harvard, bite me!
LUKE: How much time do you lose a day looking through that thing? 5, 10 minutes? Multiply that by a year. I bet you'd gain a month if you just took an hour and cleaned it out, but no -- what?
LUKE: You're smiling.
LORELAI: What? No. You've got low blood sugar.
LUKE: What do you have against bells?
LORELAI: I don't like 'em.
LUKE: Well, you don't have to like them. They're a safety feature.
LORELAI: I want a horn!
LUKE: Fine you want a horn, I'll get you a horn. Are you happy?
Sad - Rory opening the letter in the final scene.
Funny - The whole car shopping with Luke and Lorelai, their porch scene and Lorelai riding the bike.
