5.14 - Say Something - (101)
Review

Well after the wedding this is another great episode, not as much of a tearjerker as some had made out, great balance of comedy and drama. Great performances by all the cast, Lauren Graham deserves to be rewarded for the great acting. It picks up from the famliy photo, I was amazed after the "we're done" from Lorelai that Emily didn't try to speak to Lorelai who goes after Luke who wants time to think. Caesar is doing some work at Luke's, singing to the Radio. Outside she runs into Babette and Morey who thinks they have separated because they are not together right at that minute. She sees Kirk who thinks the same, how quick does news spread in this town! Lorelai find Luke watching a movie, he needs time to think but Lorelai doesn't know what that means.

The next day Taylor has the town divided with blue and pink ribbons. Lorelai says to Taylor that she will deal with him later, so we know that something is coming in the next few episodes. Maybe a lively town meeting! She confrunts Luke in Doose Market, and says she will never speak to Chris or Emily again and she's "all in", he tells her that that he "can't be in this relationship, it's to much". Lorelai is crushed and returns home to wollow, Rory borrows Logan's limo to get home because her cars being serviced, this is early monday morning when did she have time to take the car in? Lorelai has a dream of the first date with Luke where she says nothing to his "all in" speech. She tell her self to "Say Something". Rory goes to Doose to get supplies, gives Taylor a piece of he mind and takes the box of ribbons, outside there is a moment were Luke is in his truck beeping at the limo to move who is blocking the road. Lorelai is getting support from Rory who cleans the hous

There relationship is still good because she knows that Rory is grownup and can make up he own mind about Logan, unlike what happened with Chris and Luke at the wedding. We also have some good scenes with Paris, Janet and another girls from last year. Rory also is getting to know Logan better when she goes to his room while he has friends over to play poker, she doesn't snor either. Lorelai uses the spare key above the door to retrieve the tape from the answering machine at Luke's, who has come over to Lorelai to find out whats wrong. Again they talk but no one listens and Luke leaves looking like he wanted to talk to Lorelai more but dosen't know what to think when she called him, her ex-boyfriend.

Another great jam packed episode but it didn't feel rushed, it centered more around Lorelai than Luke but I think the next will be more about Luke's feelings and that he misses Lorelai.
