LORELAI'S HOUSE – LIVING ROOM
[Lorelai and Rory come down stairs]
LORELAI: Listen I think this choice is good but I need to make sure, so peak through the window and see what he is wearing. So I can know if I’m in the right ball park.
RORY: Do I have to?
LORELAI: I gave you life, I can take it away.
RORY: [Looks out the window, Alex sees Rory and waves, she waves back.] Purple jogging suit.
LORELAI: Get out of town.
RORY: Slacks and sweater, you’re dress perfectly and now her thinks I’m somebody who enjoys waving at people cutely before I opening the door for them.
[Rory opens the front door]
ALEX: Well hello. [He kisses Lorelai on the cheek] and hello again.
RORY: Hi
ALEX: Ready to go.
LORELAI: All set, you can take this and I’ll be right out. [Too Rory] Now listen, run out there and tell him you’re really curious as to what he’s gonna wear on the drive home and make it natural sounding.
RORY: [raised voice] Good Bye.
[Lorelai giggles, they kiss, Lorelai leaves and Rory shuts the door.]
