STARS HOLLOW – STREET
[Rory, Lorelai and Chris exit the doctors office.]
RORY: God I feel so light.
LORELAI: Yeah you can hardly tell it shrunk.
RORY: Mum.
LORELAI: No really, hands in packets, long sleaves, you’re good to go.
RORY: I’m gonna talk to dad now ‘cause I still like him.
LORELAI: Oh sure first Castie, now me, teens are so fickle.
RORY: [Too Chris] So how long can you stay.
CHRISTOPHER: Hey I’m here for the day and I’m willing to take you anywhere you want to go,
LORELAI: Italy.
RORY: Where do I want to go.
LORELAI: Italy, you want to go to Italy!
CHRISTOPHER: You cannot coach her.
LORELAI: I am her mother, it is my responsibility to train her in the ways of the world, part of that trailing is to teach her that when a man say “I’ll take you wherever you want to go” you always say Italy.
RORY: I got it, come on.
MINI GOLF PUTT-PUTT, WINDMILL
LORELAI: Okay see this is so not Italy.
CHRISTOPHER: Hey I thought she hated miniature golf.
LORELAI: What, who can hate a dumb-ass sport like miniature golf!
RORY: Okay I’m ready.
CHRISTOPHER: This is they thing you just had to do?
RORY: I know it’s weird but when I figured out that I had to wear a cast for two weeks I started obsessing about all the things I would not be able to do and this just popped into my head and I couldn’t get it out.
LORELAI: Oh I know that feeling, it’s like that ABBA song, [singing] Mama Mia, here I go again, my my how can I [normal voice] oh great now it’s back.
RORY: Please everyone I need some silence, I need to concentrated on this great moment that I have been waiting for, for two weeks. [Lines up the ball and hits it into the windmill. “When The Saints Go Marchin' In” starts to play.] Okay done with that.
CHRISTOPHER: What you don’t want to do it again?
RORY: Nope, in fact I’m a little humiliated that I did it in the first place, tell no one please.
LORELAI: My lips are sealed.
