"There She Goes" by The La's This was the first song played on Gilmore Girls. Starts with a simple Black and White Gilmore Gilrs logo on the screen. Including the first sights of Stars Hollow, Lorelai is crossing the street and enters Luke's Diner. It plays at the end of the diner scene before the opening credits start
"I Try" by Macy Gray Lorelai and Rory fight about Dean is in Rory's room and Lorelai in the living room, they both play this song.
"Where the Colors Don't Go" by Sam Phillips Lorelai has just hemed Rory's skirt, she looks at pictures on the mantle, fades to a scene with Lorelai at her parents'. It plays again at the end of the Lorelai/Emily/Richard meeting
