Danny Strong to write Screenplay "The Butler"

Strong was best known for his roles as Jonathan Levinson on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and Doyle on "The Gilmore Girls", He scored an Emmy nomination for writing "Recount," HBO's film about the 2000 presidential election.

The movie also staring Don Johnson is about a man who leaves his Iowa town for Hollywood after discovering that his parents were porn stars in the '70s, and that he wants to follow in their footsteps. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson will play a down-and-out director who gives Swardson's character his big break. Christina Ricci costars as Swardson's naive girlfriend, while Stephen Dorff appears as an adult film star named Dick Shadow.

- A number of name actors are in the mix for Elements of a Pink Ribbon. Fund-raising continues.
- Two movies that I committed to have received funds from overseas and those funds are in the process of being vetted by the Dept. of Homeland Security. Once the funds are released, only then can production proceed.
- Wrote a comedy feature that is now at a major studio waiting to be read.
- Working on several screenplays (all genres). My favorite is an action/adventure post apocalyptic vision of the future with a very reluctant protagonist.
- Working on a book of poems.
- Have left Evolution, along with my manager, Laina Cohn.
